Request an inspectionIf a storm damaged your roof, your homeowner's policy may cover repairs or replacement. Here's how the process typically goes and where we fit in.
We inspect your roof and exterior and tell you honestly whether we see storm damage, and whether we think it's worth contacting your insurance company.
We document the damage we find with clear photos so you can see exactly what's going on up there.
If you decide to, you contact your insurance company and file the claim. Your claim is between you and your insurer.
Your insurer sends an adjuster to inspect. If you request it, we can meet the adjuster at the property to show them the damage we documented.
After meeting with the adjuster at the property, we work toward an agreed scope of work and price for the repairs, so everyone is on the same page before work begins. Your claim and coverage decisions remain between you and your insurer.
Once you approve, our crew completes the repair or replacement, cleans up the site, and walks you through the finished job.
Please note: Hail & Gale is a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster. We don't negotiate with insurance companies on your behalf, and we don't waive, rebate, or cover deductibles. You are responsible for your insurance deductible. Questions about your coverage are best directed to your insurance company or agent.

Common signs include missing or lifted shingles, creased shingle tabs, granules collecting in gutters or at downspouts, dented vents, gutters, or downspouts, and new leaks or ceiling stains. Many hail hits aren't visible from the ground, which is why an inspection helps. Please don't climb on your roof yourself.
